This color is gray/violet with effect that can change to a brilliant green or have green highlights.. This glass is light sensitive and can change to other colors depending on the light source. The images here show how the color shifts depending on the light source. The edge is decorated with polished cuts that add physical and visual texture.
This title references the dynamic energy and sense of forward motion suggested by the angular forms and the flowing curve in the piece. It evokes the idea of movement—whether through time, space, or force—captured within the stillness of the glass.

Furnace cast, cut & polished glass
The frosted, translucent, matte surface softens the angular, bold shapes, creating a dynamic play of light and shadow that adds depth and complexity. The abstract composition's intersecting planes and volumes evoke architectural forms. This work embodies key Cubist traits: the deconstruction and fragmentation of form, multiple perspectives, and the reduction of objects into basic shapes, all of which assemble into a harmonious whole. The monochromatic tone allows viewers to focus on form and texture without distraction. The interplay of transparency and opacity introduces a sophisticated sculptural luminosity, shifting the composition depending on lighting and viewpoint.

This work is made with blue opalin glass. It has a stained glass appearance and is mostly opaque while letting light through on the edges and thinner areas causing them to be bright.

the crescent has decorative cutting called battuto. This is made in a traditional method using stone wheels and is lightly polished. Patterns will be created when light shines through the battuto and projects to other surfaces. Applying this process to cast glass i unique to my work.
